Bios

Riccardo Guerzoni holds an M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Ferrara, Italy. He is currently Director of the Core Network Group at DOCOMO Euro-Labs in Munich, where he leads research and innovation on next-generation mobile network architectures and services. Riccardo has contributed to the standardization of the 3GPP 5G Core Network since Release 15, with a particular focus on Edge Computing, Industrial IoT, and network evolution. From 2020 to 2025, he has served as a board member of the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA). He is actively involved in several research and standardization initiatives on next-generation mobile networks, including one6G, where he is member of the board, helping shape the evolution toward future 6G systems
