On July 27th, Seminar on Future Technical Applications and SJTU Academic Results was held in Shanghai Jiaotong University. In order to introduce more advanced research results, and promote the connection of academic results and industry, FuTURE FORUM will conduct a series of university research result exhibition activities in 2012. This seminar is the second stop after the Academic Communication Workshop in UESTC

On this meeting, IWCT of SJTU introduced their latest research results. Mr. LIU Hui, Director of IWCT gave a talk on “What to do after 4G”, stating in details the orientation for SJTU’s future research, such as broadcasting, cellular networks, convergence of wired heterogeneous network, unlocking network communication capacity through network computing index effect, bringing higher network computing capacity through improving communication performance. These advanced thoughts inspired the WG experts a lot. In addition, Prof. WANG Xinbing from IWCT introduced research on cognitive radio network, and Prof. CHEN Guihai from Department of Computer Science and Engineering shared his research on data communication and wireless communication, which both draw wide attention from the participants.
