Workshop on the Next Generation Mobile Communication Technologies and Applications 2012 Held in Zhangjiajie of Hunan Province
Seminar | 2013/4/17Nearly 80 top experts and scholars from domestic and foreign operators, key enterprises, and research institutes gathered in Zhangjiajie and joined the Workshop on the Next Generation Mobile Communication Technologies and Applications 2012.
While mobile communication LTE and 4G standardization and commercialization accelerated, the flourishing mobile Internet applications brought great increase of mobile data services and diversified applications, and posed higher requirements on the efficiency of mobile transmission and frequency. Mobile communication industrial circle and research institutes began to focus and discuss on the development ofthe next generation mobile communication technologies, searching optimized and energy-saving solutions for sustainable industrial development.
This workshop focused on various advanced hotspot technologies sucha as the next generation wireless transmission technologies, the next generation wireless network technologies, relative spectrum technologies, satellite communication, IoT, and green communication. Prof. YOU Xiaohu from SEU introduced the progress on the green solutions of improving spectrum utilization of the distributed MIMO technologies. Mr. LIU Guangyi emphasized the energy saving and flexible configuration brought by the B4G-TDD asymmetric dynamic frequency solution. Prof. ZHU Jinkang from USTC introduced mixed frequency coverage faced by green wireless network. Prof. LIU Hui from SJTU introduced the research on mass multimedia infromation wireless transmission. The experts also conducted exchange on the latest progress of the dynamic frequency control technology, cross-layer communication technology, dual-way relay network research, dispatch of heterogeneous network resources, and mobile technologies and applications in IoT.
The next generation mobile communication technology, inherited the route of LTE/4G cellular mobile communication, greatly improves spectrum utilization and reduce energy consumption through new technical applications. Meanwhile, the vision of technical research keeps widenning so that cross-layer technologies and introduction of computing technologies into mobile communication have also become the hotspots on this workshop.
