FuTURE FORUM and WIT CLUB organized the Cross-Strait Workshop on 5G Cooperation Development and the Second Project Meeting at Beijing Yulong International Hotel on November 7th of 2014.

Numbers of experts and scholars from the key universities and industrial organizations from the both sides of the Strait were invited to have in-depth discussion on the visions on cross-strait cooperation, detailed cooperative mechanism, suggestions on follow-up cooperation, and some hot issues such as 5G access technologies, low-consumption green communication technologies, wireless technologies and verification, and 5G system structure in future network.  

Maintaining long-standing cooperation, FuTURE FORUM and WIT CLUB have been highly engaged in promoting the cross-strait cooperation in mobile communication field, set up a sound foundation for the long-term cooperation through mutual visits and joint workshops, and put the 5G research and relative cooperative projects into practice on the basis of their cooperative framework since the MoU was formally signed.
