Investigation on Rural Customer Requirements Starts up in Sichuan Province

 International     |       2007/2/9

In order to enhance the research on customer requirements, and as the expansion of the WG1 and WG2 sub-meeting, staff from FuTURE FORUM Secretariat and representatives from the forum members conducted a questionnaire survey on the current situation of rural mobile communication and on the market requirements on future applications in some rural-urban fringes such Guang’an City and Langzhong Town in Sichuan Province during the fifth working group meeting of 2006 which was held from January 31st to February 2nd of 2007. Up to February 9th of 2007, FuTURE FORUM Secretariat had collected 428 questionnaires, including those extended by some local institutions in advance. It was expected that certain requirements on rural mobile communication could be reflected through the samples collected in these relatively undeveloped regions.

FuTURE FORUM Secretariat will continue to cooperate with the working groups to further promote the investigation on market requirements in the following year, focusing on different regions, customers with different interest and requirements on consumption.
