October 21st of 2008, Taiwan mobile communication delegation paid a visit to FuTURE FORUM, consisting of Dr. Lin Baoshu, General Director of Information & Communication Research Laboratories (ICL), Dr. Lin Yiping, Chair Professor of National Chiao Tung University and Dean of College of Computer Science, Dr. Zheng Shengqing, Director of Communication Technology Div. of Industrial Technology Research Institute, Dr. Zheng Renjie, Dr. Feng Wensheng, consultants of Taiwan Industrial Alliance and several experts and scholars at mobile communication technologies.

During the visit, a brief exchange meeting was organized at FuTURE FORUM, attended by Mr. Zhou Xingguo, Director of Spectrum Engineering Division of State Radio Monitoring Center, MII, and Mr. Fu Yaowei, Deputy Director,The High-Tech Research & Development Center, MOST, who respectively introduced the general situation of the State Radio Monitoring Center and the High-Tech Research & Development Center. Director Fu mentioned the communication activities developed between the High-Tech Research & Development Center and the Industrial Technology Research Institute, considering the advanced ideas of Taiwan mobile communication industry as valuable references for the mainland and expecting further communication and cooperation with Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute. The both sides exchanged and discussed on the possible orientations and manners for the future cooperation.

After the exchange meeting, Ms. Fu Jun, Vice Secretary-General of FuTURE FORUM offered a dinner for the guests during which further communication was conducted.
